If you choose the synthetic material, be sure that it is of a minimum 600-denier tenacity. (Denier indicates the strength and thickness of the material.) Zip fasteners must be open ended for easy access. When closed, they should offer a leak proof seam. The seams must be well stitched and sealed for keeping away moisture. They should be reinforced at the top and the bottom. Compare prices by all means, but stay away from visually appealing but cheap bags - get value-for-money bags.
